Determinants of the Self-Efficacy of Prospective Teachers in Using Drama Activities for Kindergarten: A Sample from the Arab Region

Modern education increasingly focuses on interweaving drama as an integral part of pre-school education. Given that teachers’ self-efficacy in meeting expected tasks tends to stabilize over time and is grounded their success failure experiences tertiary students, addressing among prospective teachers before starting profession strategic. This study assessed using activities for kindergarten its determinants Jordan. The also discussed the potential risks associated with within Jordanian system. utilized a cross-sectional design sample undergraduate university students majoring (N = 234). All universities offer baccalaureate degrees Jordan were targeted 6). An online survey was used collect data from aged 18 21 regarding academic characteristics, self-efficacy, attitudes toward teaching profession, communication skills. results showed high levels perceived utilizing children. reports all domains, including classroom planning, management, preparing evaluating learning environments activities. Almost 30% variability could be explained by skills, well some characteristics. Kindergarten curricula should foster students’ interest help them improve, learn, use skills effectively. Measuring managing risk schools similar contexts warranted.
